The View from Above, Oil on Canvas, Spring 2023

Painted using a photo I took while hiking a mountain in North Carolina as reference, the goal was to create a tangible sense of distance to bring the viewer into the piece.
I think I got the vibrancy of the sky and the clouds really well.
